openoffice3 and ja_JP.eucJP

hi,

is openoffice3-3.0.0nb7 broken with ja_JP.eucJP?
while it shows japanese characters in existing documents correctly,
i can't input japanese characters with skkinput.

openoffice-1.1.5 works fine on the same system/environment.
while openoffice2-2.x (sorry i forgot the exact version number)
also used to work fine, the latest version of openoffice2
in pkgsrc seems broken in the same way openoffice3 is.
