That's very interesting. According to the spec the Pentium IV shouldn't
hang but clock don't. Maybe that doesn't work too weel.

Yes, it could. The CPU fan might still be set to a slow speed because the
motherboard used to live in a well cooled desktop case in my study and
not in a cramped 19" case in a server room.
