I would have put the version number in the qcad/Makefile.common file then 
there is no possibility of the different packages getting out of sync?

instead of using ed, why not use sed?  if you look at wip/icecc/Makefile 
you can see what I did using the pkgsrc SUBST framework and it ended up a 
lot neater than my original attempts..

regarding the netbsd-g++, can you not use "${QTDIR}/mkspecs/default" ?  I 
assume you have one, its just a symlink on my system that points to 
netbst-g++ and I guess on a different system it would point to the right 
place..
