Wait. You do not have to bootstrap on DF, and it's /etc/mk.conf, and X11_TYPE 
is xorg by default on DF, unless you specify something else in mk.conf.


really?

the pkgsrc guide speaks about bootstrapping as soon as you get a cvs
checkout of pkgsrc

it does not list any exceptions.
Which all platforms do I *need not* boot strap?
i did bootstrap even on NetBSD because "make" did not work without it.
