 Just tested with xfe-1.40nb2 and it seems that now it works.
 
 However, in order to enable the deletion it is needed to configure it
 via:
 
  Edit -> Preferences -> General -> Include a command to bypass the trash
 				   can (permanent delete)
 
 Helge, can you please confirm that it also works for you (I've tested on
 NetBSD-current, not 6.0)?
