Re: pkg/50156: pkg_install.conf(5) wrong default file location description
I'm really sorry for such impolite bug report. I'm sorry for the
"That's a mess" phrase. I didn't want to offend anyone!
I'm sorry for such uninformative bug report. The file path for default
file location in pkg_install.conf(5) on my system was
'/usr/pkg/etc/pkg_install.conf'.
I'm sorry to bother someone with this stupid bug report. Turns out, if
you install any of package from remote repository using pkg_add it
adds new set of pkg_install tools. So my man page was from pkg_install
installed from packages while I tried use base pkg_install.
I'm new to NetBSD and I haven't seen any NetBSD wiki pages (which
describes how to install something from remote repository) that would
emphasis "beware! there is another set of pkg_install tools which will
be installed on your system. don't lost between them".
Sorry again if I still misunderstand something!
