I'm actually fighting to build ntfy currently.

It has two parts: a hosted server, and a client app that needs to be
installed on the phone. It works pretty well using the provided free
trial service.

Self hosting the backend part on NetBSD appears to be a challenge. My
first attempting building it using url2pkg just failed with several
dozen missing Go dependencies. It seems to have an "Everything is
Linux, just use Docker" attitude.
