Well, i'm not sure about your question because this is related to prreport 38548. It was fixed by Mr. Bouyer, but arised in NetBSD5 RCthough i confirmed that this exists on installation CD --- afterinstalling NetBSD it works without problem.

Also, please note that 'boot netbsd -1' works while 'boot netbsd -2'not, using installation CD.
