Do you get this message before it starts /sbin/init?  If so it looks like
we've had that bug for about ~13 years.  Should be fixed with this:

/cvsroot/src/sys/kern/kern_idle.c,v  <--  kern_idle.c
new revision: 1.31; previous revision: 1.30
