Hi guys. I started having the same problems, I think, just a few days ago.
amd64 / 7.99.39 / and kernel about 3 days old(~30.09) - with that:
ehci0 at pci0 dev 29 function 7: vendor 8086 product 265c (rev. 0x03)
ehci0: interrupting at ioapic0 pin 23
ehci0: EHCI version 1.0

uhub2 at usb4: vendor 8086 EHCI root hub, class 9/0, rev 2.00/1.00, addr 1
uhub2: 8 ports with 8 removable, self powered
umass0 at uhub2 port 6 configuration 1 interface 0
ehci0: handing over low speed device on port 7 to uhci3
ehci0: handing over low speed device on port 8 to uhci3
u3ginit0 at uhub2 port 4: Switching to 3G mode

ucom3 at u3g3 portno 0: 3G Modem
umass1 at uhub2 port 4 configuration 1 interface 4
umass1: HUAWEI Technology HUAWEI Mobile, rev 2.00/0.00, addr 3
umass1: using SCSI over Bulk-Only
scsibus1 at umass1: 2 targets, 1 lun per target
umass2 at uhub2 port 4 configuration 1 interface 5
umass2: HUAWEI Technology HUAWEI Mobile, rev 2.00/0.00, addr 3
umass2: using SCSI over Bulk-Only
scsibus2 at umass2: 2 targets, 1 lun per target
cd1 at scsibus1 target 0 lun 0: <HUAWEI, Mass Storage, 2.31> cdrom removable
sd1 at scsibus2 target 0 lun 0: <HUAWEI, SD Storage, 2.31> disk removable
sd1: drive offline
However, today's fresh kernel seems to be more stable...
(didn't have any troubles yet with it).
Now I'm rebuilding system and will see how it behaves in some of these days...
(Also I'd like to switch to new xorg, and play a little with it... but
sure it will work well with my "new" videocard!)))
