ral and wpa_supplicant, anybody running this?

Dear all,

I've only used it in WEP mode, and not through wpa_supplicant so that
path is definitely untested from my part.

after spending several hours, trying different wpa_supplicant versions, google'ing around, I still wasn't able to find the source of the problem, that wpa_supplicant (both in-tree and pkgsrc) is re-key'ing all the time - both with WPA and WPA2 and with two different APs while one is a comercial network:

I upgraded the kernel to -current and ported the driver patches to that version, but with the same results.

From kern/42581 I would believe that the problem is in the ral driver itself and not in the patches from Quentin, although

http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-net/2009/05/14/msg001323.html

reports ral to work. (I reverted the patch as suggested there for ath, but this also did not help)

Is there anybody out there with a ral card working with wpa_supplicant and would be able to share some debug information?

  Torsten
