Many thanks, I can confirm it *is* sufficient.

With snapshot 201207080110Z, I can replay the example present in
iscsctl(8) man page with no problem at all. Moreover, (and I don't
know whether that configuration was also expected to work) my
target is _not_ running NetBSD, it's one of these boxes:

I suspect it runs open-iscsi, not entirely sure though.
