Built kernel from GENERIC (GENERIC_OFB) with all framebuffers disabled
except ofb, no other changes.  dmesg (transcribed from screen) is here:

Anything I should look/poke at or tweak to get more info?  I suppose
start by building a kernel with DIAGNOSTIC...
