Thanks!  It builds for me.

I fixed a bunch of little things, mostly flagged by pkglint.

One thing which we probably don't document well is that COMMIT_MSG in
wip is for whatever is done to pkgsrc proper, and in this case it's
adding a new package, which takes DESCR content, rather than changes
since the previous upstream release (which was never packaged).
