Sure. I'm always building in a chrooted sandbox, otherwise I would be
completely insane already. ;)

The problem is that I have to install and test all the new packages
together at some point, because of the many dependencies. This might
require a second machine, to make sure it becomes stable again. I can
not spend a few days testing the new packages on a live server.
