So far it happens only on i386-8.0_BETA and i386-8.99.1 machines with
modular/pkgsrc Xorg.

Machines with "native" Xorg have no trouble.

It is only qt3-tools (so far) that is having this problem. It previously
built fine under i386-7.99.66 (pkgsrc-2017Q1) with both native and
modular Xorg.

I previously indicated a similar problem with some "qt4-*" packages,
but that turns out not to be the case. All the requisite "qt4-*"
packages necessary to build "cad/qcad" built successfully with both
native and modular/pkgsrc Xorg.

Naturally, this is a show-stopper for any packages that require
qt3-tools (mplayer, audacious-plugins, etc.)
