If you mean that a text console can't paste text in your mails that are
in some file, there is the solution of not using the console's
copy/paste, but Vim's, or if you haven't installed that, /usr/bin/vi's.
Vi and Vim manage editing with 2 files visible at the same time a bit
differently, but the general idea is the same: when editing your mail,
open your logfile as an additional (split screen) buffer, yank
(y<movement> or :2,5yank command) some lines, switch back, and paste (p).
