What can we do to get our many mozilla fixes in the official source?

I gave that up ages ago. It is depressing to fill a PR with portability
patches and get a ping after 1.5 years and who knows how many major (!)
releases for patches that mostly apply.

Well, in order to bring their attention to it again, I filed another bug
report referring to the pkgsrc patches in cvs. It is at
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424775 .

That references 63 patches for all sorts of different
issues. The changes of getting someone from mozilla to
take that on would be close to zero.

What might work is to pick one or two issues and submit
individual clearly labelled PRs with associated patches.

You may still not get anyone to pick them up, but at least
        you have a chance...
