Re: pkg/47964: devel/automoc4 NetBSD 6.99.22 amd64 native C compiler gcc" is not able to compile

The following reply was made to PR pkg/47964; it has been noted by GNATS.

gcc" is not able to compile

I rebuilt everything that devel/automoc4 depended on when I ran in
 /usr/pkgsrc/devel/automoc4

 # make clean-depends

except for x11/qt4-libs which would take a couple of hours to
complete. I had built qt4-libs last night.

I have also force deleted devel/cmake, made sure its directory under
/usr/pkg/share had been removed, then reinstalled it with

 # make install

I was able to compile a simple C test program using
 /usr/pkgsrc/devel/automoc4/work/.wrapper/bin/gcc.

I fear I may have to blow away /usr/obj and build the release from
scratch. That will take a few hours, perhaps tonight.

My real concern is whether the patch to fix PR 47922

 Subject: CVS commit: src/external/gpl3/binutils/dist/ld/emultempl
 Date: Tue, 25 Jun 2013 19:38:55 +0000

requires one to clear out various directories or perhaps even do a
full rebuild of userland including pkgsrc.
