Hi Greg,

Just a question about how pkgsrc development works in NetBSD. I have seen many
program crashes just at the moment of starting them during my 3 years of NetBSD use.
Does it mean that auto builders only test the programs for compiling ok but no one checks if the program actually works fine?

I think I have never experienced so many segfaults in any of the OSes that I have
tested (Debian and FreeBSD for example), having used the former for more than 20 years.

It's simply meant as constructive criticism, with no intention of starting a heated debate.
Just to know if there is a way to improve that or whether it is only a matter of lack of human resources.
I love NetBSD very much but this subject it is a bit dissapointing.

Regards.
Ramiro.
