The effect I was after was to make the core file drops meaningful when
put through gdb.  Next time around, I'll leave out MKDEBUGLIB.  Thanks.

After `build.sh .. install=/', I've run

   /usr/sbin/etcupdate
   sh /usr/sbin/postinstall -s /usr/src -d / fix motd obsolete

do I need to do anything more for etcupdate to work on xetc?
