Hello,

If you are new to NetBSD consider install a full desktop, or server,

or email   from my distributuion.

Just point the package site to our servers:

export PKG_PATH=http://netbsd.k1.com.br/NetBSD-x86_64-10.0_STABLE/packages

than.....  pkg_add -Uv bash rsync mate-lzt  libreoffice firefox

Note that this repository all packages are built against modular-xorg

some configuration is required for the gdm  in /usr/pkg/etc/gdm/custom.conf at line 95-99

enable dbus, gdm, hal... in /etc/rc.conf:

hal=YES

dbus=YES

gdm=YES

make shure you have functional X with mouse and keyboard.

restart computer

should show desktop like the old good gnome-2.32
