Yes, with a local delivery agent, on behalf of the local MTA. Or from within an IMAP client - works nicely. But that doesn't solve your problem.

Postfix doesn't speak IMAP, does it? You would have to have a local delivery agent that (working with stored user credentials) also acts as an IMAP _client_. Interesting concept...
