	I have tried to use ping -g but I'm not sure I have understood -g option.

legendre# ping -g 192.168.15.19 8.8.8.8
PING dns.google (8.8.8.8): 56 data bytes
^C
----dns.google PING Statistics----
3 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss

	Of course, 192.168.15.19 is up.
