I'm not really expecting that. With XVideo, as I understand it, the cpu
has to do the decoding. XVideo just scales and puts the image in a video
overlay. But still, this appears to be more efficient than what the
GL-based methods do. And that surprises me... Maybe in GL the cpu has to
push data to the video memory, where XVideo pulls it from cpu memory
with DMA? I have no idea, I'm just guessing... there must be some
explanation.

It doesn't tell me that it does, and I've never seen any indication of
it, so this is indeed as I expected.
