Are you sur ICH7 supports AHCI ?
"Enhanced" in the bios doens't necesserely means ahci.
In all the BIOS I've seen ahci is always explicitely mentionned (eventually
you have to turn the controller to enhanced mode to have the AHCI
enable/disable entry)
