Thanks. I am able to fetch from the ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/amd64/7.0_RC1/All/pkg_summary.gz and I am able to wget http://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/amd64/7.0_RC1/All/pkg_summary.gz, yet pkgin update returns the same error code. I did try the http in repository.con, but that just hangs.I did try other repos just to verify but get the same results.pkgin: Could not fetch ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/amd64/6.1.5/All/pkg_summary.gzpkgin: Could not fetch ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/amd64/7.0_RC1/All//pkg_summary.gzpkg_add works correctly. So maybe the problem is on my side. Any suggestions on what to look for?On Sat, Aug 1, 2015 at 11:17 AM, Gary Duzan <gary%duzan.org@localhost> wrote:In Message <CAN+FjHMZcrvvdOP-TtnK5DwEUhcHWHW8kQ52LazCV2wbu2qu6w%mail.gmail.com@localhost>,

=>You should be able to substitute 6.0 for 7.0 and get working packages.
7.0 should be fine, though. Maybe try http: instead of ftp:?
