Connection speed & error msgs with v6

My connection throughput varies from 1 to 300 megs and I'm spending an
inordinate amount of time troubleshooting kernel error msgs.  If I throttle
the speed & reinstall I have no problems.  Has any1 else experienced this?? 
This is not a major issue to me.  I'm just curious.
