"sokva" again

Hi,

I hope that someone can help me. httpd processes are again having a stateof sokva. I can't say for sure, but it seemed to make the problem worsewhen I added 2 more IP's to ifconfig and then added 3 ssl sites to myapache conf. The system has 3 network cards and 5 IPs now.



I have this in my kernel config:

options         ALTIVEC         # Include AltiVec support

I really can't understand this. If I build a kernel with: optionsSOSEND_NO_LOAN then I after a few days the system stops responding. Whatis really weird is that it intermittently responds to pings.

I have been thinking about building a kernel with optionsKMEMSTATS. Would this mean a performance hit?



I have this in my sysctl.conf:

kern.maxfiles=65536

All I can think is the kernel is running out of resources somewhere. Arethere things that I could change in my apache config that would help?
