NetBSD 6.0 unknown group `_mdnsd'

Since upgrading two NetBSD/i386 5.1.2 machines to 6.0 this error has 
been appearing in their /var/mail/root files:

mtree: unknown group `_mdnsd'
mtree: failed at line 410 of the specification

I discovered I hadn't added a _mdnsd group to /etc/passwd. I have now:

_mdnsd:*:25:25::0:0:& pseudo-user:/nonexistent:/sbin/nologin

but the error's still appearing every day.

Is there something else I have to do to stop it occurring?
