Re: large disks

Strange, if I don't misread it, this would be:

atapci1: <nVidia nForce MCP61 SATA300 controller> port
0x9f0-0x9f7,0xbf0-0xbf3,0x970-0x977,0xb70-0xb73,0xd800-0xd80f mem
0xfe02c000-0xfe02cfff irq 23 at device 8.0 on pci0
ata2: <ATA channel 0> on atapci1
ata3: <ATA channel 1> on atapci1
atapci2: <nVidia nForce MCP61 SATA300 controller> port
0x9e0-0x9e7,0xbe0-0xbe3,0x960-0x967,0xb60-0xb63,0xc400-0xc40f mem
0xfe02b000-0xfe02bfff irq 23 at device 8.1 on pci0
ata4: <ATA channel 0> on atapci2
ata5: <ATA channel 1> on atapci2
ada0 at ata4 bus 0 scbus4 target 0 lun 0
ada0: <ST3000DM001-9YN166 CC4B> ATA-8 SATA 3.x device
ada0: 300.000MB/s transfers (SATA 2.x, UDMA5, PIO 8192bytes)
ada0: 2861588MB (5860533168 512 byte sectors: 16H 63S/T 16383C)

which should attach as wd0 at viaide0 on NetBSD just fine.

Any chance to get a NetBSD dmesg output from the installer?
There should be some error message around viaide failing to attach or
something like that in it.
