We do have drivers for IPMI, as well as a wealth of hardware sensors
(particularly the ACPI ones). We don't have drivers for some of the
proprietary baseboard management solutions like IBM IMM or HP ILO; but
given the way those work, the OS drivers are really used primarily for
tasks like reloading the controller firmware, which I am personally of
the opinion one should never do on a production host!
