Acer Aspire One - keyboard not working

Hello everybody,
I have installed NetBSD on my Acer Aspire One. It works perfectly, at times,
but often the keyboard doesn't at all. Or it works, then suddenly stops.
Searching on the net, I've found that PR-44499 shows the same problem, but it's
unresolved. So I tried to ask a dmesg when it works and when it doesn't. There
are some differences:

Keyboard working:
...
apm0 at acpi0: Power Management spec V1.2
pckbd0 at pckbc1 (kbd slot)
pckbc1: using irq 1 for kbd slot
wskbd0 at pckbd0: console keyboard
pci0 at mainbus0 bus 0: configuration mode 1
...

Keyboard not working:
...
apm0 at acpi0: Power Management spec V1.2
pckbd0 at pckbc1 (kbd slot)
pckbc1: using irq 1 for kbd slot
wskbd0 at pckbd0: console keyboard
pms0 at pckbc1 (aux slot)
pms0: Synaptics touchpad version 7.2
pms0: synaptics_probe: Failed to query capabilities.
pckbc1: using irq 12 for aux slot
wsmouse0 at pms0 mux 0
pmsattach: disable error
pci0 at mainbus0 bus 0: configuration mode 1
...

So it seems there are some problems with the touchpad detection. I do not plan
to use the touchpad outside X.
Any hint on how to avoid this?

Thank you,
Stefano
