postfix and openssl in NetBSD 5.1 (SNI and valid-client-cert)

Hello,

Is OpenSSL in NetBSD 5.1 built with SNI support?

(Unrelated) I'm running into a problem with dovecot (through sasl)
not being able to determine the validity of my certificate (which has
been determined by postfix already) on my NetBSD 4.0 system. Some
googling led me to a potential explanation: "valid-client-cert not
implemented in postfix" (i.e. postfix has verified the client
certificate, but it does not pass this information to dovecot through sasl).

There's a patch which makes postfix pass the valid-client-cert value
through dovecot-sasl (see
http://www.mail-archive.com/dovecot%dovecot.org@localhost/msg21658.html), but I
have no idea if it's the correct solution, or if it has found its way
into the official postfix source. I can find no traces of it in the
postfix sources in NetBSD 5.1 or -current, anyway.

Anyone know off-hand if the patch mentioned above is the proper one,
or is valid-client-cert passed through some other means?

Jan Danielsson
