libpng library and headers

Hi,

when I install the png package (specifically I have png-1.5.1beta09) I 
get both the headers as well as the libraries with a version on the name.

eg:
includes/libpng15/png.h

libpng15.so

Most other programs outside pkgsrc won't find the library that way, I 
think that at least symbolic links should exist:

libpng -> libpng15
libpng.so -> libpng15.so

Or am i missing something?
