5.1_RC4 gif problems

I can't get any packets to flow over a gif tunnel. I've tried between two
NetBSD boxes on my LAN, and one on my LAN and one on a WAN. tcpdump
(`tcpdump -i gif0 -vv`) captures no packets, and reports none dropped by
kernel, on the 5.1_RC4 boxen. The WAN box has a -current kernel from quite a
while back, and has no problems with gif interfaces. Anybody else having
problems?
