NetBSD works very well for me under VMware Fusion (both 2.0 and 3.0).
My virtual machine (I've selected FreeBSD as the guest OS) runs
NetBSD/i386 current uses ACPI, four virtual CPUs and 2 GB of memory
without any problems. It even beats my physical NetBSD/amd64 dual
core machine in build performance.
