Almost there...

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your help getting the wireless up and working. It works
with NetBSD-current install. There are two more things that I'm not
sure why aren't working:

X11 doesn't work, which is very frustrating because this feels like
the first time I installed Slackware over 15 years ago. X brings me to
what looks like a really large console instead of an X11. I was able
to get this working in Linux without configuring (X -configure).
However, I still cannot get it to work after download a few different
xorg.conf's for the Thinkpad X200.

The other problem, although minor, is not getting wireless to start at
boot with wpa_supplicant.

I have to type the following after I get to the login prompt (and
login of course :):
# wpa_supplicant -B -i iwn0 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf
# dhcpcd iwn0

Then it works. I have the following in my /etc/rc.conf:
wscons=YES
dhcpcd=YES
dhcpcd_flags="-q -b"
wpa_supplicant=YES
wpa_supplicant_flags="-B -i iwn0 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf"
defaultroute="192.168.1.1"
hostname="quarry"

So it seems like something is missing. Any thoughts on either?

Thanks,

-Anne
