I guess it's not that obvious. For i386, it would be this one:

ftp://nyftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/netbsd-5/201001140000Z/i386/binary/kernel/netbsd-INSTALL_FLOPPY.gz

Look for a similar one in your release/ directory.

This is the kernel that gets put on the install floppy disk, I guess.
But if you boot this one, it will load the ramdisk and start sysinst,
which is the installer/upgrade tool.
