nfe0 at gigE?

I have a new ASUS motherboard with an on-board nfe0 controller.  It works 
(though it takes forever to autonegotiate); however, it seems to stop at 100M 
bps on a gigE switch.  It's not the cable; that same machine (running 
amd64/5.0.1) and cable work just fine at gigE speeds with a wm0 card in there.

Worth doing something about?  Or just leave wm0 in there and not worry about it?
