To expand this a bit, with two machines, one with Intel HD 4400 and another
with an Intel HD 4600 in my experience with -current of the last years:

 - `SNA' acceleration method works well only if -current is built with
   `INTEL_DRIVER_DATE= 2014', otherwise there are graphical artifacts
 - `UXA' acceleration works well but at least when using webkit-gtk I
   see that filling forms is slower than `SNA'

After reading nia suggestion regarding modesetting(4) I have retried it
and seems the best one.  The only caveat: a compositing manager
(e.g. xcompmgr or picom) is needed to avoid graphic artifacts in
www/firefox (thanks Nia for the suggestion off-list!).
