I don't think it is, it was just a typo, and it's fixed.

You mean that this image works?
Yea, I did a terrible job explaining :P. I have not tried the image. What I mean is that the PKG_PATH described in the readme (ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/jun/raspberry-pi/earmhf/2014-07-05/) links to packages which run successfully on my Pi with a current kernel from: ftp://nyftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/HEAD/201407130250Z/
