I spoke too soon, unfortunately. I ventured to make a remote backup
(pulling another machine's data with rsync over ssh, to a local
usb-attached disk) and it froze after doing a significant part of it.
Still, this is a much longer uptime than I've seen previously with these
mysterious freezes.
