USB problems after memory upgrade

Hi!

After upgrading my HP ProLiant from 1GB to 4GB RAM, the USB stick I
use as system disk fails after some time with

umass0: BBB bulk-out clear stall failed, TIMEOUT
ehci_sync_hc: tsleep() = 35

According to this thread

http://mail-index.netbsd.org/netbsd-users/2009/04/15/msg003491.html
http://mail-index.netbsd.org/netbsd-users/2009/04/15/msg003492.html

the problem is the USB controller. I don't know if it is an nVidia one
as mentioned in kern/37884:

ehci0 at pci0 dev 18 function 2: vendor 0x1002 product 0x4396 (rev. 0x00)
ehci0: interrupting at ioapic0 pin 17
ehci0: dropped intr workaround enabled
ehci0: EHCI version 1.0
ehci0: companion controller, 5 ports each: ohci0

I have reduced the memory to 2GB and hope this is more stable. Is a
fix possible, so I can use 4GB?

Thanks!
