umass0: BBB bulk-out clear stall failed, TIMEOUT NetBSD 4.0 amd64 x86_64

Dear NetBSD users.

netbsd-users

gmane.os.netbsd.general

umass0: BBB bulk-out clear stall failed, TIMEOUT

I have this problem reading from my usb flash drive

sd0 at scsibus0 target 0 lun 0: <PNY, USB 2.0 FD, PMAP> disk removable

mount -t msdos /dev/sd0e /mnt

then I could read from USB stick and copy exactly one small file to
hard drive.

on attempt to read or issue an ls /mnt command the term froze.

umass0: BBB bulk-out clear stall failed, TIMEOUT
umass0: BBB bulk-out clear stall failed, TIMEOUT

on attempt to shutdown

I could see

umass0: BBB reset failed, TIMEOUT

umass0: BBB bulk-out clear stall failed, TIMEOUT
syncing disks... done
unmounting file systems... umass0: BBB reset failed, TIMEOUT

umass0: BBB bulk-in clear stall failed
umass0: BBB bulk-out clear stall failed
umass0: BBB reset failed, TIMEOUT

after reboot it works.

previously it worked,

cdrom mount and umount works.

I did not attempt to write any file to the mounted 4.0GB usb stick.

reading one small file and issuing

ls -l /mnt

is sufficiently to reproduce the error.

===

I did mount /dev/sd0e

and it is NetBSD 4.0 amd64 x86_64

I did not attempt to write any file to the mounted 4.0GB usb stick.

I mount with mount -t msdos /dev/sd0e /mnt

as root

# mount -t msdos /dev/sd0e /mnt
# umount /mnt

after reeboot I can again mount usb memory stick.
but the error occures after attempt to read the file,
and list the files with ls -l.

the file is succesfully read,
but then the error occures.
