I compiled the kernel with APCIVERBOSE. It didn't help much. The first boot made it to the login, and I managed to types a bit, and then the system hung up. Second boot stuck on pms0 at pckbc1. I can only report what I see. I have no idea how to fix this. When I boot with acpi disabled, pms0 is a touchpad. robert
