Heh, "of course". Stupid me.

This machine is a MacBook Pro 5,1 (Core 2 Duo @ 2.4GHz) and it is
running OS X 10.6.4 and VMWare Fusion 3.1.2.

dmesg comes here for a VM with 1 virtual CPU and 1GB of RAM.
