Re: ral and wpa_supplicant, anybody running this?

Hi David,

Am 15.02.10 21:08, schrieb David Young:
How much times passes between
consecutive group-key re-negotiations?

About a second, always three of them and then

CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED - Disconnect event - remove keys

In between, a DHCP doesn't get through.

_same_ wpa_supplicant.conf file, different machine (macppc), bwi interface:

CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS
CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS
Trying to associate with 00:24:fe:03:00:2c (SSID='KWERTH2' freq=2412 MHz)
Associated with 00:24:fe:03:00:2c
WPA: Key negotiation completed with 00:24:fe:03:00:2c [PTK=TKIP GTK=TKIP]
CTRL-EVENT-CONNECTED - Connection to 00:24:fe:03:00:2c completed (auth) [id=0 id_str=]

[about a minute later, no further messages, network stable, DHCP can be exchanged w/o problems]

I've posted a very detailed debug file (containing both wpa_supplicant's output as well as syslogd output with net.link.ieee80211.vap0.debug = -1) here:

http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-net/2010/02/08/msg001859.html

(This was in my office where several APs are reachable, so log file can be a bit confusing).

BR,

   Torsten
