'postinstall fix fontconfig' doesn't fix it!

I'm updating a few of my systems from 5.99.15 to 5.99.17 (built from sources updated just an hour or so ago). Installing via build.sh complains about fontconfig:

fontconfig check:
Broken fontconfig configuration found; please delete these files
        in the //etc/fonts/conf.d/ subdirectory:
           10-autohint.conf 10-no-sub-pixel.conf 10-sub-pixel-bgr.conf
           10-sub-pixel-rgb.conf 10-sub-pixel-vbgr.conf
           10-sub-pixel-vrgb.conf 10-unhinted.conf 25-unhint-nonlatin.conf
           65-khmer.conf 70-no-bitmaps.conf 70-yes-bitmaps.conf
(This warning only appears if both the 10-unhinted.conf and
        10-autohint.conf files are present.

Using 'postinall fix fontconfig' doesn't seem to work:

{101} cd /build/netbsd-local/
{102} postinstall -s ./src fix fontconfig
Source directory: ./src
Target directory: /
fontconfig fix:
postinstall fixes passed:
postinstall fixes failed: fontconfig
{103} postinstall -s ./src fix fontconfig
Source directory: ./src
Target directory: /
fontconfig fix:
postinstall fixes passed:
postinstall fixes failed: fontconfig
{104}

It's not clear why it thinks that it has failed.
