/boot causes triple fault in vmware

Hello,

I just built a NetBSD/amd64 release ISO image from recent sources and
was going to install it in a VMware Fusion virtual machine, but as
soon as /boot is started (after the VESA-related text message
appears), the virtual machine crashes. I found this in the logs:

...
Mar 04 13:37:23.536: vcpu-0| Triple fault.
Mar 04 13:37:23.536: vcpu-0| Msg_Hint: msg.monitorEvent.cpl0SS (sent)
Mar 04 13:37:23.536: vcpu-0| *** Virtual machine kernel stack fault
(hardware reset) ***
Mar 04 13:37:23.536: vcpu-0| The virtual machine just suffered a stack
fault in kernel mode. On a real computer, this would amount to a reset
of the processor. It can be caused by an incorrect configurati
on of the virtual machine, a bug in the operating system, or a problem
in the VMware Fusion software. Press OK to reboot virtual machine or
Cancel to shut it down.
Mar 04 13:37:23.536: vcpu-0| ---------------------------------------
Mar 04 13:37:25.083: vcpu-0| CPU reset: hard
...

Any ideas?

Thanks,
